Easy Shortcuts To Manage and Create Reservations

An introduction to the right-click 'context' menu options and other shortcuts

  • Right click to perform actions on a reservation

Right click to perform actions on a reservation

You can right click on a pill on the diary screen to perform the available actions. Depending on the status of the reservation item the menu options will change e.g. checkout will not be available if the guest has already checked out.

Right click on the diary to create a new reservation

You can create a reservation by right clicking the date beside the room you wish to allocate to the reservation. This is particularly handy when you want to best optimise the room allocations.

Easily create group reservations

You can right click on a date above the diary to create a group reservation for a number of nights.

You can then choose the rooms you wish to add to the group booking (only rooms that are available in the selected dates are shown), you can optionally choose the ratepland and specify a rate per item, total price, or let the system calculate the current rate from your saved prices.

Easier dragging and dropping of reservation pills

You can hold Ctrl (or Cmd on a mac) to drag pills, and you can choose to unlock the pills. When unlocked you can drag the pills to the new dates, then lock the screen again to avoid accidental changes.

View guest credit cards from cancelled reservation screen

You can now click "View card details" on the results from searchign cancelled reservations to access the guest payment information from the vault.

Easily mark a reservation as paid

Some properties have requested an easy method of marking a reservation as paid ... we have added this to the new pill context menu.
